Trimeresurus insularis

Harmony is a series highlighting snakes, the most misunderstood animals in the world, with complementary colored flowers to help their beauty stand out.

The Sunda Island pit viper (Trimeresurus insularis) is found throughout Indonesia, and is normally a vibrant green. A few islands, however, have isolated populations that are bright yellow or electric blue.
